A United States Marine Corps veteran who served as a tanker, then spent nearly a decade as a 911 dispatcher alongside law enforcement, fire rescue and EMS. He leads Arcem's first responder initiatives, from officer wellness and family assistance to scholarships and community outreach.
Chris Scott serves as Director of First Responder Initiatives for Arcem, where he leads the development and implementation of programs designed to support law enforcement officers, firefighters, EMTs, dispatchers, and their families. His role focuses on strengthening relationships between public safety agencies, nonprofit organisations, community partners, and private-sector stakeholders to create meaningful resources and long-term support systems for first responders.
Chris is a proud United States Marine Corps veteran who served honourably as a tanker, developing the leadership, discipline, and commitment to service that continue to guide his work today. Following his military service, he spent nearly a decade as a 911 dispatcher, working alongside law enforcement, fire rescue, and emergency medical personnel during critical incidents and emergencies. This firsthand experience provided him with a unique understanding of the pressures, sacrifices, and challenges faced by first responders and their families.
At Arcem, Chris helps oversee initiatives focused on officer wellness, family assistance programs, scholarship opportunities for students pursuing public safety careers, community outreach efforts, and strategic partnerships that strengthen support networks for those who serve their communities. He is actively involved in projects aimed at improving access to resources for injured officers, supporting families during times of hardship, and developing innovative solutions to address the evolving needs of first responder communities.
